FAQ: What strategy should
I keep in mind when designing an ad?
Get to the
point by stopping the reader's "eye":
You have only one to two seconds
to catch the "eye" of the reader in most publications! Only by
standing out will you stop traffic.
Brief is
better than too wordy:
Most readers are not willing to
wade through lots of copy to get to the gist of the information.
Typically, ads that are short and punchy get the best response.
Be relevant to
the potential customer:
When designing ads and copy, keep
in mind that customers are only interested in what will benefit
them.
Provide vital
information:
Make sure your potential
customers know where you are and how to contact you. Don't assume
anything.
