Media A La Carte is a female founded, boutique social media agency in NYC working with powerful clients in the wellness, hospitality, fashion, and entertainment sectors. We're looking for a personable, creative, extremely organized, multi-talented account executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong social media management and client relations skills.


This role is hybrid with super flexible hours and days in office. MUST BE IN NYC OR LOCAL TRISTATE AREA with ability to commute into the city at least once a week and more often for important client content capture and shoot days.




  • Create and craft high level strategy to reach client goals

  • Manage client accounts including communication with clients

  • Plan and outline client content according to strategy + goals in monthly content calendar

  • Create graphics, images, Reels/TikToks, assist with shoots and plan grids for clients

  • Write engaging captions and copy

  • Manage all account posting day to day including stories

  • Have flexibility to take on more work/have this role shift as the company grows

  • Manage deadlines and drive the growth of our client's accounts



  • Are experienced with Canva and have great aesthetic design skills

  • Experienced with different planning apps like Planoly and Later

  • Experienced with editing Reels + TikToks

  • Stay up to date on social media trends

  • Can plan and map out an aesthetically pleasing Instagram grid in no time

  • Great at writing captions in different brand voices

  • Can maintain brand guidelines for graphics

  • Execute social media publishing strategies ensuring that all posts are accurate, punctual, safe and onbrand

  • Can understand social media analytics

  • Are great with community management, responding to client's comments and DMs

  • Team player

  • Degree in communications, business, journalism, marketing or equivalent

  • Previous experience managing social media accounts, working in house or at an agency, a big plus

Salaried, rate depending on experience.
