Instagram is pretty great at creating features that help Business/Creator accounts assess how their content is doing and help them earn money on the platform. Instagram has already rolled out Instagram Checkout, Instagram shopping on feed posts, stories, and Reels, branded content, and Instagram Live Badges to help users make money. Instagram’s Insights have been around longer than everything in the list before. But until now, all of these features have been spread out across the platform. Now Instagram has created a place where you can access all of that at once - Instagram’s Professional Dashboard.

Why did Instagram create the Professional Dashboard?
Instagram stated the below reasons for creating the Professional Dashboard.
1. Track Your Performance:
Discover insights and trends based on your account's performance.
2. Grow Your Business:
Easily access tools you use to run your account more efficiently, discover new tools to help you build your business, and check monetization status and eligibility.
3. Stay Informed:
Learn how to make the most of Instagram through curated educational resources including tips, tricks, guidance, and inspiration.
What if the Professional Dashboard isn't showing up?
If your account doesn’t offer you the Professional Dashboard, it may be because you don’t have your account set to “Business Account” or “Creator Account”. You can do this by going to your settings, and scrolling down until you see the words “Switch to Professional Account”. Follow the instructions, and you should have access to the Professional Dashboard as soon as your account is officially switched over.
Unfortunately if you already have a Business Account or Creator Account and you still aren’t seeing the Professional Dashboard, you just have to be patient until Instagram rolls the feature out to your account. We’re very sorry. We’ve all suffered at the hand of the slow Instagram rollout before.
